Direktórium

The year 2009 will be little bit strange - Brigit is leaving for Spain, but she will come from time to time and Slávka is going much further - New Zealand, so we will not see her for a very long time!! :((( On Friday we had last Direktorium meeting in person and we will stay in touch through Skype and e-mails. But it will be different ....
And we will feel it even more in our peer group, where differences in our study journeys are becoming more and more visible. Here are few photos to remember.

Seminár s Alexandrou a Lenou 2008

In December we had great seminar with Alexandra Vassiliou a Lena Aslanidou from Greece. It was about relationships. And they will come next year again!! :))

Worldwork 2008

In April 2008 several people from Slovakia and Czech went to London for Worldwork. Sylvia and Boris were privileged by stepping into the role of facilitators of small groups and therapists for individual sessions. The whole event was organized by RSPOPUK and there were more then 400 participants from all over the world. Here are more photos, audio files and documents from the event.

 

 

New office

Since February 1st 2008, we have 1st room, where we can meet in consensual reality ;). It is in Bratislava - Heydukova 1. In the moment we are very excited about this fact. May be it is nothing extraordinary and may be it is important possibility for our next steps :)

Calliope

Tina Lygdopoulou from Greece, she attended seminar Europe Matters-Europe Works in Štúrovo, Slovakia, told us that Popi is shorter, popular name of Calliope one of the 9 muses. It is interesting to find roots of names to history, mythology, ... So, who is Calliope?

She was daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and is now best known as Homer's muse, the inspiration for the Iliad and the Odyssey.

She had two sons, Orpheus and Linus by either Apollo or the king Oeagrus, of Thrace. She was the oldest and wisest of the Muses, as well as the most assertive. She was the Muse of eloquence and epic or heroic poetry. Her name 'Calliope' means "beautiful voice". She was the judge in the argument over Adonis between Aphrodite and Persephone, giving each equal time with him. She was represented by a stylus and wax tablets.

She is always seen with a writing tablet in her hand. At times, she is depicted as carrying a roll of paper or a book or as wearing a gold crown.
